It may not be be my favorite film from Tarantino, but it's certainly stuck with me. You can see a contemplative, aging auteur here. And while it can be slow, it's also super entertaining at times as well. It's endearing how human and vulnerable both DiCaprio and Robbie allow themselves to be. That coupled with the altering of history here, allows for a melancholy ending, and true to its title, it feels like a fairy tale.
