This charming little tale began as a short story in 1949 and has since become a radio play, a movie, and a stage musical. Though it received most of it's attention in it's native Canada, this Golden Globe winner for Best Foreign Film (1975) is capable of satisfying a wider audience. It doesn't move your world, but it does strike some sensitive notes.
