One of my all time favorite shows. Home Movies is a hidden gem of early Adult Swim, blending dry wit, improvisational humor, and surprising emotional depth into a uniquely charming animated series. Created by Brendon Small, who went on to create Metalocalypse, and Loren Bouchard of Bob's Burgers fame, and voiced to perfection by H. Jon Benjamin. Early episodes have the squigglevision style from Dr. Katz that make it look like it was animated during a minor earthquake, but there's something comforting about it that reminds me of late nights in college, watching weird cartoons instead of studying.
