DISTANT keeps things simple. It’s less about big twists or deep themes and more about the journey and interactions. The chemistry between Ramos and Naomi Scott (as the voice of Naomi) builds toward a satisfying, if predictable, resolution.
In the end, Distant doesn’t aim to be profound. It’s a breezy, modestly entertaining film that offers laughs, light suspense, and a touch of heart. Perfect for those who enjoy sci-fi without the heavy existential weight.
A fun, easygoing survival tale with charm and humor, if not much depth.
