This is cinema at its finest. Every single aspect of it. Whiplash wasn't a fluke, this director is somebody that I will eagerly wait to see his films. The cinematography was breathtaking, the music masterful, and the acting the best I've seen from Ryan Gossling and Emma Stone. Their chemistry is amazing. The whole movie successfully felt like one giant dream. The lighting also had me floored. Lastly the ending was bittersweet but perfect.
