No one ever really faces consequences for doing bad things to the protagonist and its a trope i hate, i thought with the love interest being how he is this would be different but it never changes. Its so annoying, i thought for the first time we will have a male lead that actual takes action but its more of the same, like has it crossed your mind that he becomes like that because of the crucial moments he should have acted he didnt do anything. There's too many polished up heros and its annoying, the glory seems to be the only one with a male love interest willing to get his hands dirty or is generally more assertive outside of the plot required moments
