William and Mary
William and Mary is an ITV romantic comedy drama set in London, England, starring Martin Clunes as William Shawcross, an undertaker, and Julie Graham as Mary Gilcrest, a midwife. Its title refers to its two principal characters and is a cultural reference to the reign of the English monarchs William and Mary. It was shown in three six-part series in 2003-2005. It was also screened on Seven's best of-Scottish and English-oriented 7TWO.

Martin Clunes & Julie Graham are superb as William & Mary. Julie Graham is as usual absolutely superb in this series and to have Martin Clunes as well is just brilliant. Every episode seems to be filled with dark humour and near tragedy but to the actors credit you are never put off and are always looking forward to the next episode. The whole cast is is worthy of congratulation as every episode in all three series gelled together as a great triumph for television.
