Atmospheric zombie film. No real jump scares or cheap thrills. The processing of grief somehow imparts a mundane feeling to a zombie film, not in a bad way, but it's a common trope fully explored through zombies atp. Didn't really have anything new to say in that regard but decently executed.
Fun teenage horror that with a Final Destination theme. Long live the lesbians.
Whistle
The Stream
Wish this was better. The concept is fun and the camera work isn't bad at giving you a disembodied feeling but the writing and story and acting just wasnt there for me
The Stream
Mr. K
Fun, surreal, claustrophobic with a wtf ending.
Mr. K
Mother of Flies
Another excellent addition to the Adams repertoire . In the same vein as Hellbender, if you enjoy minimal, character focused, slow burn folk horror, this movie is for you.
If you like analog horror, this one might have gone under your radar but it's worth a watch. Decent low budget, fun watch.
Deadware
Lookout
Decent low budget sci-fi horror, maybe an intro horror for those that don't want to be grossed out or get jump scared. Appreciate the limited explanation, acting was so-so but the pacing and visuals were good. Nice rainy day watch.
Lookout
The Astronaut
Pleasantly surprised by the ending, though can be a let down if you went in with a strong desire for a typical sci-fi horror invasion movie. More of a thriller than a horror, and it should be listed as such to prevent the expected disappointment that entails.
