Elf called Iki-Iäkäs is dying, because music box that plays the tone of his life is about to stop. Iki-Iäkäs sent 3 elves called Hande, Kauko and Toivo to retrieve the key to the music box that was left behind in a cave in Keuruu. With the help of the book of wise men they try to fix the propeller that broke down when they crashed. Elves must be careful because the book of wise men can't end up in the hands of näsä.
