A story about a small-time thug who experiences the biggest change in his life abroad when he ends up becoming the son of a ganglord, and then gets commissioned to work for the police as an undercover.
Li Jin Shui (Alan Wang) used to be less than ordinary. He is cowardly and simply lives day by day with no goals nor ambition. In order to pay for his mother's medical bills, he goes abroad to work and inadvertently exchanges identities with the son of the powerful Jin clan (Alan Wang). Yet along with the riches come the complications of being wealthy as Father Jin falls ill. To seize the family assets, the eldest Jin son makes trouble for his younger brother which puts Li Jin Shui in constant danger. Luckily, he is saved by a cop who becomes his friend.
Meanwhile, the Jin Clan's mortal enemy the Dong Xun Clan also waits for an opportunity to absorb the Jin's businesses. Li Jin Shui and Dong Xun's daughter Ju Shan Xi (Li Xin Ran) start falling for each other in spite of the tense situation between the two families. Li Jin Shui has learned to value many things through his outrageous experiences, and he works with the cop to bring down the bad guys.
