Die Galaxis wird bedroht. Separatisten kämpfen mit der Unterstützung der dunklen Sith Lords gegen die Galaktische Republik und wollen die Bevölkerung unterdrücken. - Cubanevor 2 TagenIt's a good show, but it suffers a lot from relying too heavily on characters whose destinies are predetermined by the movies that came out before this show, and bookend the span of time it occupies. Like yeah, real shocker that General Grievous does some shit, Obi-wan and Anakin pursue, but he gets away. The sheer number of episodes that go back to that same watering hole is just baffling. When it actually bothers to create an original storyline, the show really shines with some great characters. The plotlines are pretty simplistic at first but gradually become more nuanced as the show progresses. By the final season it's an Eldritch waking nightmare thriller that's so far divorced from the first season you struggle to believe it's the same series.

The Clone Wars flips that narrative on its head and tells a gripping war story about Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and their loyal fleet of clone troopers. This series is perhaps the greatest Star Wars television ever made and will leave you emotional by its epic conclusion. This is a must watch for any fan of the galaxy far far away!

Don't let the first season's poor CGI and clunky pacing fool you--this is something special. Each season is greater than the last, so that, by the end, you'll want to stand up and cheer.
