"Tetsujin No. 28" is a TV anime produced by Tokyo Movie that was broadcast on Nippon Television. On the production station Nippon Television, from October 1980, 10 to September 3, 1981, every Friday 18:00-18:30 (JST) broadcast. 51 episodes in total. After the broadcast, it was distinguished from the first work and was called "Messenger of the Sun Tetsujin No. 28" (Taiyo no Shisha Tetsujin ni Ju Hachigo). In order to distinguish it from the old work when LD video was softened, the title of "Messenger of the Sun Tetsujin No. 28" was given from the theme song and soundtrack. Therefore, depending on the material, it is not written as "Messenger of the Sun", but "new" is added next to the title, or the year of broadcast "'80" is noted.
