Paul Clark is a cab driver and wannabe small-time criminal assisted by his best friend Sean, who amusingly misunderstands the sticky kerfuffles they always seem to get themselves into with his less-than-average intelligence sparking many more problems. Sean has a pathological compulsion to lie and to boast about his "mastermind criminal acquaintances," and his aggressive nature only makes things worse. They spend most of their time either moaning or boasting over a pint in the local pub, with their pals getting a kick out of their mishaps.
