Team ATX TV LOVES Reacher, so we’ve been looking forward to Neagley. It’s action packed, compelling characters, and we love seeing badass women on screen!
But this has an extra connection for us.....
Maria Sten was one of our 2017 ATX TV Pitch Finalists. We’ve been cheering her on for years, and it’s beyond special to watch someone we met early in their career do such AMAZING work.
“I’m military.” “You’re not military.” “I was military.” Over and over and over again, episode after episode. Does this woman have literally anything else to say?
It feels like the writers forgot to give her an actual personality, so they just stapled “MILITARY” to her forehead and called it character development. Every time she starts another speech about how she was in the military, I want to skip the scene before she even finishes the sentence.
Yes. You were military. We heard you the first fucking 50 times.
