He lives with his wife Gitte and sons Mick and Morten in Horsens, and his great role model is Thomas Eje. Mr. Poxycat & Co is a Danish sitcom and Nikolaj Lie Kaas' instructor and screenwriter debut from 2007. The series was shown on TV 2 Zulu, and although it was a relatively big success, TV 2 chose not to show it because it was "too strange". The series was filmed in Horsens and the surrounding area and was also made with support from Horsens municipality and theater.
