Das Duo will seinen selbstgebrannten Erdbeer-Bananen-Brandy an den Mann bringen und nutzt dazu einen sogenannten „toten Briefkasten“. Dort wird die Ware deponiert und der Schlüssel an anderer Stelle gegen das Geld eingetauscht. Denn eine direkte Übergabe wäre viel zu riskant. Doch trotz der Vorsichtsmaßnahmen läuft bei dem Deal nicht alles nach Plan.

Während die Maische in den Fässern gärt, tüfteln die Südstaatler zudem eine neue Schmuggelmethode aus.

Denn die Satsuma-Früchte, mit denen die Südstaatler ihren hochprozentigen Alkohol aufpeppen, sind zwar relativ kältebeständig, aber je weiter die Temperaturen fallen, desto langsamer geht es mit dem Gärungsprozess voran. Chico fühlt derweil in Kentucky einem Kunden auf den Zahn. Der Mann hat 30 Gallonen „Moonshine“ bestellt – solche Mengen kann man unmöglich alleine trinken, deshalb wittert der Outlaw eine Falle.
