Mommy Dearest tells the story of two mothers, Emma and Olive, and their love for a child named Mookie. Growing up, Mookie was sickly and it was up to her mother, Olive, and her love, to take care of her and maker her better. Emma, on the other hand, comes into their lives as a stay-out maid and becomes Mookie's confidant and best friend, only for Olive to try and put a stop to it.
