The young Maria Corleone has moved from Palermo, Sicily to Milan and is realizing her dream of becoming a stylist; she has a partner, Luca Spada, a young prosecutor with whom she is expecting a child. Having returned to Sicily for the big party for her parents' wedding anniversary, she is involved in an attack that will change her life forever.
