Nachdem Thors hinterlistiger Adoptiv-Bruder Loki mithilfe des Tesserakts in eine andere Welt entflohen ist, findet er sich bald im Gewahrsam der Time Variance Authority (TVA) wieder, die den Fluss der Zeit und etwaige Abweichungen davon überwacht. Dort wird er nicht nur vom undurchsichtigen Mobius M. Mobius auf Herz und Nieren geprüft, sondern soll schließlich auch wieder Ordnung in das entstandene Zeitlinien-Chaos bringen. Die Zusammenarbeit zwischen der Organisation und dem Unruhestifter erweist sich jedoch als schwierig, da Loki als eigensinniger Charakter mit den starren und regelkonformen Mitarbeitern mehr als einmal aneinander gerät. Allerdings scheint sich hinter den Kulissen der TVA ein ganz anderer Plan zu entwickeln, in dem Mobius eine tragende Rolle spielt.

Chef’s kiss. Visually, thematically, emotionally—it’s operating on another level. What starts off as chaotic trickster shenanigans turns into a story about identity, legacy, regret, grief, and finding purpose beyond the roles others write for you. This is not just “Loki being Loki.” It’s Loki confronting himself, literally and metaphorically. Tom Hiddleston finally gets the arc he deserved. Not a side villain. Not comic relief. Not just Thor’s hot mess brother. But a myth made human. Watching his growth across two seasons is like watching someone crawl out of their own mythology and into selfhood—and it’s stunning. There’s heartbreak. There’s cosmic nonsense. There’s Alligator Loki. And there’s a finale so hauntingly beautiful and earned, it sits next to WandaVision in my “Marvel shows that punched me in the soul” collection. And listen—Sylvie? Mobius? Miss Minutes? OB???
