Follow Kamoshida, a man fed up with his life as a salaryman. He decides to quit and become a street fortune teller, perhaps not the wisest career change. His wife, doubtful of the choice, takes her son and leaves. At first Kamoshida suffers from lazy business but then he comes across a black cat and his two kittens of his, representing a symbol of misfortune. He has a hard time raising the puppies, but uses the kittens to help read the fortunes of others. In the process, he discovers what is really important to him and the business begins to grow.
