Fabiola's parents are killed in a plane crash leaving her and her younger sister Andrea orphans. Their parents' estate is divided equally between the girls, but at the will reading, the family is surprised to learn of the existence of $1-million life-insurance police, and even more surprised when they learn who is the sole beneficiary of it. While the family squabbles over the police, Fabiola decides to take over the administration of her family's business: a successful garage. She's overwhelmed at first, then meets a mechanic named Ramon who turns out to be the son of her long-time nanny Juana.
