⭐⭐⭐⭐ (out of 5) High on Sex – Class dismissed, inhibitions optional. “High on Sex” is a Filipino series that straddles the line between comedy, romance, and unapologetic eroticism — the kind of show that makes you wonder how it ever got classified as “drama.” Starring the Vivamax queens of local cinema, it’s less high school realism and more Skinimax in a school uniform. Across two seasons (each telling its own story), it serves up teen fantasy with a Filipino twist — complete with youthful chaos, tangled relationships, and just enough social satire to make you think you’re watching something deeper. The catch? It’s hard to shake that slightly guilty feeling when everyone on screen is meant to be in high school, even though the actors are safely over 18. The episodes can’t really be watched standalone — each season is one big, spicy arc — and if you don’t speak Tagalog, you’ll need to give the subtitles your full attention. But once you settle in, it’s undeniably entertaining. This isn’t one for the kids, nor for anyone expecting subtlety. But for adults looking for something decidedly steamier — a late-night watch that mixes high school drama with unabashed fantasy — this series might just tick every box… and raise a few pulses while it’s at it.
