Seit Jahrhunderten kämpft der britische Geheimbund Hellsing gegen Vampire und andere Untote. Als in der Dunkelheit erneut ein Krieg auszubrechen droht, setzt Lady Integra, das junge Oberhaupt des Hellsing-Bundes, eine streng geheimgehaltene "Spezialwaffe" ein: Alucard, der mächtigste und brutalste Vampir der Gegenwart, der sich auf die Seite der Sterblichen geschlagen hat, zieht in den Kampf gegen eine neue Art künstlich gezüchteter Vampire, die das englische Königreich in Angst und Schrecken versetzen.

Oldy and Goody, that still holds up. Will really miss William Morgan Sheppard's deep voice (RIP) and wish he had done a lot more voice work.

Dark atmosphere, intense fights, and one insanely overpowered main character — that’s Hellsing in a nutshell. Personally, the pacing felt a bit slow for me and it’s not entirely my genre, but I can see the appeal. Watching a stylish protagonist wield guns against other equally powerful vampires is undeniably cool. The slightly older animation style gives it a unique vibe, and despite its age, the action sequences still look fantastic. If you’re into gritty, gothic settings and badass characters, this one’s worth checking out.
