Special forces soldier Mikhail Tsaryov returns to his hometown in the Murmansk region to celebrate the anniversary of his father Nikolay Tsaryov, police colonel, head of the local department of the Russian Guard, together with his family. But right at the festive table of the restaurant, Nikolay is arrested on suspicion of corruption. Mikhail stands up for his father and even starts a brawl with the capture group, he can hardly be calmed down. A young but ambitious investigator, Yulia Borisoglebskaya, claims that Nikolay, using a high position in the National Guard, entangled half of the entrepreneurs in the city with extortions and should suffer a well-deserved punishment.
