Businessman Roman Sokolov and his partner fall into the hands of law enforcement agencies on suspicion of fraud on an especially large scale. However, Roman made a deal with the investigation in advance: as a result, his accomplice is sent to a pretrial detention center, and he himself, along with his daughter Alisa, is transported to Blagoveshchensk under the witness protection program. Now they are the "Khomyakov family", and their safety is ensured by Major Sveta and Captain Grisha. Roman will have to play the role of an exemplary family man, live in a "fake" police family and establish relations with his daughter Alisa, who is not at all happy about the move.
