- Simen Fjeldstad21. März 2026Loving every second of Frieren!
- null5. September 2026Best DnD campaign ever. It's appropriately paced given the title character's remarkable longevity and heartwarming when and where it counts. The action is slow to build up but that tension is precisely what a deep story about reflection and looking forward to the future needs. I don't know who needs to hear this but you are enough. Just be yourself and let everything fall into place.
- rg94008. Juli 2026I am editing this review after finishing season 1. It went from being something I really enjoyed to one of my all-time favorites and something I consider a genuine masterpiece. This is a story about looking back by looking forward, about understanding the importance of living in the moment, about the importance of the little moments. Each arc, whether it goes by within a single episode or lasts multiple episodes, is suffused with emotion and impact, with an intentionality that is almost surprising considering how effortless and cozy the show feels. The animation is stunning, especially the visualizations of the magic, and Evan Call's soundtrack is top tier. It has been a privilege to watch Frieren's journey and reflection on her past, obvserving both unfold simultaneously as we learn the way she learns about the importance of small details she originally ignored. Honestly, everyone should watch this beautiful and poignant anime. Original Review: This is ongoing, but I am really enjoying it. I appreciate how it takes a fantasy setting and the concept of an elf who outlives all her companions to explore how and why relationships between people matter. Using her unique perspective, the story is able to help accentuate humanity from the outside looking in. The side characters also get focus, so we get to see their character growth juxtaposed against the initial companions and Frieren. Sometimes the episodes feel inconsequential or too subdued, but they all have such a gentle and cozy feeling to them that I do not mind.
- gyarn6. Juli 2026I watched two episodes last year then totally forgot about it. Pleasantly returned to it two days ago and am kicking myself it took me a year to revisit this... Excited to watch season two, such a wonderful experience it has been watching this :D
- Zerces25. Juni 2026🧠 Opinion: One word: Atmospheric! 📊 Rating: 👥 Characters: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 📖 Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🎨 Animation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🎧 Music: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 💥 Entertainment: ⭐⭐⭐ (🎤 OP/ED: ✩ ) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🏁 Conclusion: *Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End* isn't loud. It isn't action-packed or groundbreakingly innovative. In fact, it took me nearly 6 eps to really settle in—a period during which I’d occasionally glance at my phone. You have to get used to the pacing and let the story unfold at its own speed. But once that happens, the world envelops you like a cozy, warm blanket. You are practically drawn right into it. From the audiovisual presentation to the characters and the story, everything is executed so beautifully—it’s as if every single scene were drawn by a virtuoso. As you delve deeper into the world, you notice the finer details; these aren't just generic backgrounds—an incredible amount of love went into every detail, creating a genuine emotional impact. I fully expect that *Frieren* will move me to tears by the end of the journey—for a variety of reasons. Of course, there are some cool battles here and there, but in my opinion, the focus remains on the journey, the characters, and the emotions they experience. That might be a slight drawback for some—and the reason it falls short of a 5-star rating in the "Entertainment" category—but no matter how you look at it, *Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End* is a masterpiece.
- Jean Slave5. Mai 2026The Six Feet Under of the Anime genre. Like SFU, you will not be the same after watching this Anime.

- american_shishi21. Juli 2025Pure Gold! Among the best anime ever made. Emotional, engaging, charming, heartwarming, great pacing and fun characters. Goes in the anime hall of fame.
- LIT HEAD GIRL18. Dezember 2024Amazing anime !! Must watch. It's a beautiful, feel good show. Rated it a bit less because its an ongoing show which makes me sad :( but 10/10
- Corrine Kocjancic6. November 2025Started slow, but that's part of the build. The character building, backstory, and adventure are unmatched. I know solo leveling took anime of the year (which I also enjoyed!), but in my book...this tops it by yards. It's one of those shows you keep thinking on and digesting long after you finish it.
- Model RK80030. Januar 2026excellent idea, good characters and story pacing, beautiful artwork, the soundtrack is one of my favs alarms in the morning ☕✨ But I'd be lying if I said that it managed to hit the "sweet spot". 🌝🫴
