- CHIEF8. Januar 2026The cinematography and soundtrack are a legitimate trip, almost all of the actors are on their A game. The ending to episode 1 leaves a lot dangling ;) ! It is modern, it is woke, but is also a war on drugs by showing the utter annihilation when you let addictive subtances into your life.

I'll echo Dude's review in that there are too many dicks. There is enough to play whack-a-mole Maybe that is your thing, who knows? You'd be hard pressed to survive a dick seeing drinking game based on how many you see.

Zendaya continues to raise the bar well beyond her remarkable debut, and performances from Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Eric Dane, and Alexa Demie keep the fractures between characters feeling painfully believable. Lexi's quiet resilience becomes one of the series' most grounding forces, offering a perspective that cuts through the chaos without ever needing to compete with it. What stands out when looking at the series as a whole is how much its emotional weight has been shaped by the people who brought it to life. Colman Domingo's work gives the show a moral clarity it often struggles to find on its own, and his scenes with Rue remain some of the most deeply felt moments across the entire run. Angus Cloud's sincerity leaves an imprint that doesn't fade, even as the story moves beyond him, and the losses of Cloud, Eric Dane, and producer Kevin Turen cast a shadow that makes the series' themes feel even more fragile. The second season may be messier and the third season more uneven, but together the three seasons reveal a show willing to chase emotional truth even when the storytelling wavers. For all its excess, Euphoria remains honest about how hard it is to want something better for yourself and how easy it is to lose your grip on it, and that honesty lingers in a way that feels too close to grief.

However it has moments where it trys to portray imagtry instead of being gritty and raw which is imo a better way to tell the story. This story has been done much better in other shows but because its a newer show I think the younger generation finds it as their version of one tree hill hill or 90210 just more uncensored. If you want to watch a good show similar to this watch the U.K. version of skins they did this much better imo. This isnt a bad show it just could of been done a bit better for all the hype it gets. Solid 3/5

The cast, many of whom were still rising stars when the show debuted, deliver performances that feel painfully real. Each episode feels like a confession lit by neon and regret. It’s a hard-hitting teen drama that refuses to pull punches, exploring not just the chaos of youth but the systems that fail it — from parenting to pressure, love to loneliness. And for adults, it’s a mirror rather than a barrier: a reminder of how fragile people are, no matter their age. Season 3 has been long rumored, but with cast schedules and time passing, it may never arrive — perhaps fittingly, as Euphoria always felt like lightning in a bottle. Two seasons might just be the perfect dose: enough to leave you haunted, moved, and amazed at how something so beautiful can hurt so much.
- zappy.4. Dezember 2025Man, I miss this show. Sunday nights haven’t been the same since Euphoria stopped releasing. I thoroughly enjoyed the show and drama - it’s a bit weird when you take a step back and realize that these kids are supposed to be high schoolers. The show works as a super edgy, gritty teen drama - and the characters are all somewhat likeable.
