Basilisk - The Ouka Ninja Scrolls

Der Streit um die Nachfolge, der in der Keichou-Ära über drei Generationen von Shogun andauerte, gipfelte in einem furchtbaren Kampf der Ninjakünste zwischen dem Kouga- und dem Iga-Clan. Inmitten eines Regens aus Blütenblättern wurden ein Mann und eine Frau, die sich dazu entschieden hatten, ihre Leben der Liebe zu widmen, wieder einmal getrennt. Es heißt jedoch, dass Hanzou Hattoris Adoptivsohn, Kyouhachirou, diesen beiden Blütenblättern – ob nun vorübergehend oder dauerhaft – neues Leben schenkte und zwei Andenken zurückgelassen wurden. Die Kinder, die mit ihrem ganz eigenen Schicksal geboren wurden, heißen Hachirou Kouga und Hibiki Iga. Ersterer hat die Augen seines Vaters und letztere die ihrer Mutter.
