Whatever you write about this series will sound bland and clichéd – it’s a true masterpiece; you simply have to watch it.

▄︻デ══━一 An extraordinary evocation of WW2🪖reality in every way. Well cast, with fine production values that do a superb job recreating the confusion, terror and camaraderie of a US paratroop unit from D-Day to the end of WW2, with a very welcome interspersed selection of first hand accounts from some of those who survived to tell the tale. Plus some welcome "extras", including the making of the series and an event in France that saw the return of the same members of the elite Easy Company, part of the US 101st Airborne Division. Highly recommended.

Have watched it multiple times and I enjoy it even more every time I see it. If you don't shed a tear when you listen to the old soldiers talking about what they went through then there is something wrong with you. You need to watch it, at least once. Highly recommended

    Best war series ever made.

Brilliant. Brilliant WW2 drama. Easily the best WW2 TV series ever made, and one of the greatest ever TV series, full stop. Based on Stephen Ambrose's novel of the same name, the movie is incredibly accurate in its depiction of WW2 military and action. It's not surprising that Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg are executive producers, as the special effects and action scenes are very reminiscent of Saving Private Ryan. However, the movie isn't just about the action. It’s about all the other stuff that goes on in war - training, deploying, waiting to go into action, general down-time and, most importantly, the bond between the men in a unit. The latter is actually really what the series is about (hence the series' name). It also gives us an incredible final scene, one which always leaves me very emotional. An absolute must-see.

This mini-series is one of the best reenactments of war I've ever seen. It connects you with members of Easy Company from their training to the end of the war.
