Alice is an American sitcom television series that ran from August 31, 1976 to March 19, 1985 on CBS. The series is based on the 1974 film Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore. The show stars Linda Lavin in the title role, a widow who moves with her young son to start her life over again, and finds a job working at a roadside diner on the outskirts of Phoenix, Arizona. Most of the episodes revolve around events at Mel's Diner.

F15Love Me, Love My HorseFlo's brother, Jimmy Joe, has come to town as a rider in the rodeo. Alice discovers that she is to go on a date with Jimmy Joe. The flashy dressing Jimmy Joe tells Alice that he just knows that are going to get along like two hogs in a wallow. Moonshine and out door range cooking in the chilly night desert leaves Alice cold. Although she turns down his proposal, Jimmy Joe just won't take no for an answer. - Don't Lock Now

The girls volunteer to come in to take inventory on Sunday while Mel changes all the locks and puts a block on the phone. Trouble ensues when they all get locked in the storeroom with no key. Flo is pressured into calling Jerry's hotel room in hopes of snagging tickets. Although at first he doesn't recall her, a guilty Jerry decides to go to Mel's to make amends. Ketchup & chocolate syrup will make Jerry a prisoner of Mel's storeroom. - Earthquake
F24EarthquakeWhen a Native American elder predicts an earthquake at 11:37 AM, most of Mel's regulars stay away. A cop with ulcers brings his prisoner in for an early lunch. A tremor unnerves Alice. Now everyone is worried about whether the big quake will come. Someone has been taking money out of the tip jar.
