Mediacorp recruited him after he succeeded in being the third runner up for the Malaysian version of Singapore's contest; Star Search. He was featured in numerous local mega shows including Lobang King. He was also spotted in The Little Nyonyai His first acting stint in which he had been casted as a lead actor was called The Thin Line.
Additionally, he attained the 'Best Supporting Actor' award in 2009 during the Star Awards.
