Takahiro Obata (小畑 貴裕, Obata Takahiro, born 1984) is a Japanese composer, arranger, and pianist born in Ōita Prefecture who lives in Tokyo.
He began playing keyboard instruments at the age of 4 and became interested in jazz at the age of 14. He studied composition, arrangement, and orchestration under Hirohiko Tamura and Atsuro Kono, jazz piano under Katsuya Tamura, and classical piano under Yukiko Miyazaki. After graduating from university, he moved to Kitakyushu and worked as a jazz pianist until he moved to Tokyo in 2013. After working as an assistant to composer Yuki Hayashi, he debuted as a composer in 2018. In 2021, he founded Atabo Studio.
