Richard Allen
Darsteller
10. Juni 1871 — 1. November 1940 (69 Jahre)
Richard Allen is a filmmaker and cinematographer. Starting out young, he made movies himself with his friends. This hobby would later become his profession. He works now as a DOP, and has an extensive music video portfolio, as well as commercials (online and TVCs) and films (short and feature length).
He is always looking for new ways to use lighting, composition and motion as an expressive tool, to enhance storytelling, and create emotion through the visuals.
In his earlier years, he was passionate about art, photography, design and architecture. This evolved into an interest in filmmaking and an acquirement of all round film production skills (through making his own films, and working as an AC and spark), as well as studying a BA in Film and TV Production. His approach and understanding has largely developed from experience in the field, an awareness of the world and film around him, and a sharp eye.
