My therapist recommended this as an objectively terrible film that was a joy to watch. They weren’t wrong This movie wants to be Final Destination so bad. Only much less interesting and some weak ass kills Random ass cast. Phillippe and Sherrilyn Fenn??? lol Their reactions to the inheritance and the cute music playing in the background right into the spending spree 👌 The (first!!) saxophone scene fucking destroyed me. And immediately goes back to dumpster diving for no reason hahahahahah what a wish …..if she’s the most popular girl in school, why are her friends so mean lol “You don’t think I wouldn’t have wished for my mom to-?” then why didn’t you!?! It would obviously be the first thing you’d do!!!! Gah Throwing it away would only make all the good things stop and would cause more people to die????? How dumb are you guys. HIDE IT SOMEWHERE Why would you steal it back and then be like “no more wishes” lol so you’re just gonna have nothing and let people die… Hilarious ending. Did she really just forget lmao

Die 17-jährige Clare Shannon (Joey King) und ihre Freundinnen Meredith (Sydney Park) und June (Shannon Purser) haben es nicht leicht an der Highschool. Clares Vater (Ryan Phillippe) schenkt ihr eines Tages eine alte Spieluhr mit einer Inschrift, die besagt, dass dem Besitzer der Uhr alle Wünsche in Erfüllung gehen sollen. Clare hat nichts zu verlieren und spricht ihren ersten Wunsch aus. Zu ihrer Überraschung erfüllt er sich! Kurze Zeit später besitzt sie alles, was sie sich jemals erhofft hat: Geld, Ansehen und ihren Traumprinzen. Alles scheint perfekt zu sein. Doch dann sterben die Menschen, die ihr am nächsten stehen, auf grausame Art und Weise. Clare hat Blut an ihren Händen und muss die Spieluhr loswerden, bevor sie selbst und alle, die sie liebt, den ultimativen Preis zahlen müssen.
