Der Zwerg versteckt das Kind zuerst, kann sich aber dann seiner Pflicht nicht entziehen. Er macht sich auf, unterstützt von dem Schwertkämpfer Madmartigan und zwei Brownie-Winzlingen, Elora zu den Daikinis (den Menschen) zu bringen. Mit Hilfe der Fee Fin Radziel beenden sie die grausame Herrschaft Bavmordas und ihrer Truppen.

- David Trigg3. April 2025One of my favorite high fantasy movies. Not the best ever made, admittedly, but it's a fun ride with funny moments, scary scenes, magic everywhere, and a decent story. Definitely worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
- TomVader26. September 2025I'm biased by nostalgia, but I think Willow is a fantastic movie. Warwick Davis slays it as an unexpected hero. Val Kilmer lends a sarcastic comedy. Sure, the plot isn't great, and the story drags a bit, but if you're the kind of person who puts on tights and goes drinking at the Renaissance Faire, or spends evenings rolling dice in fantasy roleplay, you're probably going to love this movie. Fairies, magic, brownies, witches, castles, and swords. What else would you need?
- Mister Arn22. Mai 2025Is Willow a fantasy or a fairy tale? Very few films can pull off being both, and this is not one of them. Its action scenes are not just nasty; they are silly. During the final battle, I groaned and prayed for the end to come quickly.
