While celebrating their success in assimilating Max, a lab rat, into a highly experimental computer program, Evelyn, the lead bio-tech at TransHuman Enterprises receives news that her fiance has been in a brutal motorcycle accident. In a last stitch effort to save him, they recklessly leap forward in their research as they rush to upload his conscious mind into the machine.
