Regie Koreyoshi KuraharaTeam DANKAI are a group of rally drivers set to compete in the Paris-Dakar Rally, an off-road endurance race spanning thousands of miles and multiple continents. Prior to the race, team leader Mizuki is ordered by their sponsor to add popular singer Yoshii (who has starred in commercials for the sponsor's products) to the roster for publicity. DANKAI's group is full of resentments and baggage, so Mizuki recruits legendary mechanic/driver Eiji Honma to help them win the race.
