- ርልዪረ24. Januar 2025Although this is described as a movie, I seem to remember that each of these segments was part of a series of separate programmes broadcast in the dim and distant past. This series had the same name as this "film" and had different stories each time. The one I remember most vividly is the one where John Lithgoe, later to star in Third Rock From The Sun, was a disturbed passenger in an aircraft. During a severe thunderstorm, the aircraft was in danger of being ripped apart by a strange being outside the plane. Everybody thought John Lithgoe's character had suffered a severe mental trauma and he was restrained by the crew. See this film. It is worth it for this section alone. The other stories are all different, but still rotate round the supernatural. One is in an old people home (expect the unexpected) and another is in a house miles from anywhere but is at the side of an American highway. Where else? Highly recommended.

Ironically, this highlights how perfectly The Twilight Zone format works on television, where standalone stories feel natural and satisfying. Despite its flaws, the film remains an intriguing tribute that reinforces the enduring power of the franchise’s TV roots.
