Clarence feiert seinen Geburtstag – allein im Kino. Doch dann setzt sich die sexy Blondine Alabama neben ihn, und keine 24 Stunden später sind die beiden verheiratet. Dass Alabama als Callgirl anschafft, stört Clarence wenig. Kurzerhand legt er Alabamas brutalen Zuhälter um. Und mit dem zufällig erbeuteten Rauschgiftgeld machen sich die beiden auf Hochzeitsreise – im Schlepptau Mafia, Polizei und die Leibwächter eines ziemlich angepissten Filmproduzenten.

    Top tier. Lives up to its name. It’s aged well. That a movie from 30+ years ago feels like a breath of fresh air is remarkable, but it’s probably because of it’s highly original and toxically masculine male-driven story… in a world of effeminate pander-driven spectacles, Clarence is still so cool.

    How can you not love this movie? Memorable scenes and quotes. Great cast. It's Thelma & Louise meets Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It's more an experience than a movie.

    A team-up between Tarantino and Tony Scott was bound to be good, and this movie delivers and then some. Filled to the brim with memorable characters and scenes, this is one of the greatest movies from the 90's. Probably also one of the most underrated flics ever. A must see for any Tarantino fan or even any cinema lover. Christian Slater at the top of his game delivers his greatest performance ever. But pretty much everyone involved is awesome to watch.

    This one’s a true who’s who of the 90s. Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette are electric in their respective leads. The supporting cast is ungodly stacked. Quentin Tarantino’s tight script and Tony Scott’s apt direction help tie together this blast of a film. Oh yeah- True Romance kicks ass.

    Funny contrast of love story against hyper violent drug and gang backdrop. Surprising actors in tiny roles. Arquette is adorable and sexy.

    Brilliant movie. Saw a mix of action and romance. The cast is incredible also, perhaps jot all stars at the time, but quite a lineup to look back on. The music throughout adds to the movie.

    This is one of my all-time favorite movies. Incredibly good acting from some of the best in the business. A complex plot that is not difficult to follow. It's hard to tell the bad guys from the good guys, but that's what makes this movie so special. Don't allow yourself to miss this one!

    There were several outstanding performances, with the best I've seen from Slater and Arquette. I enjoyed the story, and it kept adding interesting characters as it progressed.
