Tron: Ares

Tron: Ares Rezensionen & Wertungen
- ᑕ∈ᖇ∈ᔕ/ᔕTEᖇᒪIᑎG1. April 2026Rather good despite not having many returning characters from the previous films. It's not movie of the year by any means, but it's got more to it than I expected. Outside of the obligatory eye candy CGI and other special effects (which were incredible in 3D), it's got a banger of a soundtrack and a pretty neat story with a twist I think could resonate with a lot of people. I know it's easy to judge this movie because there aren't many returning characters and because Jared Leto isn't a very strong lead actor, but this is actually a pretty decent role for him that is tempered well enough that he doesn't take it too far like some of his other cinematic roles. The other casting is also rather decent as well, especially Geta Lee as Eve. If you're a die-hard Tron fan from the beginning, I can understand how this is a bit of a mixed experience. But, as long as you go in trying to give it a chance as an extension of the Tron universe rather than a direct continuation of what we've seen before, I think it's worth watching at least once.
- DConran28. März 2026Very meh. Great CGI but the story & plot are not. Some service to fans of the original movie. It's typical Disney milking their intellectual property beyond when they should have stopped.
- jccherry21. März 2026Pretty good overall. Jared did not disappoint
- Rick9. Oktober 2025Maybe I’m a simple man but give me lots of light trails, a booming NIN score, and some sick 3D. It did just that. The plot wasn’t much, but I didn’t need it to be. It did its part to set up some incredible set pieces.
- András Monoki10. Oktober 2025I think this movie Disney's first good movie with a real meaning in a long time
- Spaceman Joe22. Oktober 2025I think this franchise has some kind of curse- either that or I’m not seeing the same movies the critics are seeing. Tron: Ares is amazing. The music was sick. Not quite Legacy level awesome but pretty darn good. I about started levitating in the opening scene. Although yes, this movie could’ve had more inside the Grid, it was still such a cool looking film. Literally some of the coolest cinematography I’ve ever seen. Just the pure aura was insane. And as for Jared Leto, the reason so many people hate this, I think this was the right movie for him. People say he’s bland and emotionless as an actor? Well, now he plays an AI. So it actually works. Say what you will about his performance in other movies, but his style of acting works better in this setting. And besides, he’s the whole reason we have this sequel. Did y’all want another Tron or not?? I don’t know what people DON’T see in this franchise. For the third time in a row, a good movie was poorly received and the franchise was near terminated. Even some of the few critics that actually liked Legacy are hating on this. I’m pretty sure we won’t get the sequels this movie desperately deserves, maybe they’ll manage to squeeze one more try with new characters in another 20 years.
- Sabrina10. März 2026A fantastic evolution of the soul of the Tron franchise, even if it deviates from the distant, retro-futuristic aesthetic of its' predecessors. I absolutely love the soundtrack by Nine Inch Nails. Trent Reznor never fails to deliver, and he perfectly nails (pun intended) the sonic atmosphere in Ares. I was hoping we'd see more of Korra following the end of Legacy, but I'm not upset about what we got instead. Here's to hoping we don't have to wait another 28 or 15 years for the next installment. 🤞
- Paulis & Manu7. März 2026Not as bad as it's made out to be, and even with a lot of potential. This is nevertheless a fun flick that the family enjoyed
- Eneff10. Dezember 2025Fuck you Disney. Completely ruined a movie that had so much potential. I'm actually mad about this because I loved the remake so much. This is just lazy unimaginative slop that shits on the source material.
- Christopher Hirsch6. März 2026Just didn’t feel anything like Tron.
- NM Ahmed26. Februar 2026Cold asf
- François14. Oktober 2025Not bad but could be better if they did a better work linking this movie with the precedent one
- Sylmand22. Februar 2026Long time fan of Tron, this is a worthy continuance...
- Mike971929. Oktober 2025Awesome movie!
- ss4422. Februar 2026It was kinda stupid, but it was kinda awesome. Make of that what you will.
