Was the point that you’re supposed to be looking for stuff in the background the whole time so that you can feel like a huge idiot when nothing becomes of it Do you like random, bland cinematography? Bc if so, jackpot!! I meannn….i guess it was well-acted! Lots of filler if you’re into that! I will say…I’ve had a funky light in my bathroom for the past yeah that I will never be able to look at the same I THINK….this guy wants to fuck his sister. My theory only feels more justified as the film goes on Marginally better than The Lovely Bones (derogatory) Just all types of nonsense going on in the third act, especially when it comes to uh any decision made Gotta start being more selective about my Letterboxd Video Store picks….and the opinions of certain people I follow lmao I do feel compelled to go see how bad this dude’s other film is tho Watched via Letterboxd Video Store Currently Ranked #78/115 in 2026 Ranked [note: I sat on this review for a night bc I do think it’s actually a very realistic found footage thing but that doesn’t necessarily make it a good film]
- Cornloaf6. Juli 2026Was excited for this movie due to the comparisons to Lake Mungo. Mungo is one of my top (if not the top) found footage type flick. It should have been 30 mins shorter. The last act was a bit exciting, but didn't make up for the rest. Wanted a little more of something at the end. I don't know if I will watch again, but pay attention to the lyrics in the tape he plays towards the end. If I do watch it again, I will have to listen to the other lyrics to see if there are any clues.
