Probably one of the worst movies ever made. Very funny to watch. After only the first 20 minutes I knew I was witnessing something special. The main character (and director) seems to suffer from some mild retardation which probably explains this movie and really adds to the appeal of this.

My score is not based on the quality of the movie or it’s intended purpose, it is based on perverse entertainment value. This is THE legendary bad movie, to the point that it’s one of the funniest things you can watch. The astonishingly bad acting, psychotic dialogue that is far too quotable, and inconceivable story telling decisions, all come together to create a perfect storm of unintentional comedy. The happiest accident in the history of cinema.

Definitely a fun, unique experience. Must be watched with friends (not family). Legendary line deliveries. How dare Lisa.

You know what’s a phenomenal movie? How about the worst film ever made? Much more fun to watch on my own than I remembered lolol Tommy Wiseau would have been a revolutionary softcore porn writer/director/star??? “I gotta go see Michelle in a little bit to make out with her.” I’m starting to respect this movie more?? lmao never seen this in HD and it rules. Just so, so funny in all the wrong ways. Hilarious but misunderstood. So wrong it becomes right. lol @ my alternating 1/2 star and 5 star reviews S-tier sex scene(s) [with OUTSTANDING music choices] and still truly fucking hilarious, though not in any typical way. The jarring dialogue switches between Todd Solondz surrealism, softcore porno / soap opera theatrics, and bad sitcom dynamics - I honestly love it lmao it’s like when he puts pen to paper, he forgets how people work, like, in every way It’s so funny how nonsensical it is. All of the random unanswered plot lines are so atypical, I almost respect it. Denny looking 30+ years old = 👌🏼 A sex scene every 9 minutes was a fun idea but I knew they didn’t have the stamina. Hubris (I do have a theory that at least two other scenes in this film were cut short before the sex started) The main theme sounds like it’s ripped from a 90’s video game and the R&B songs will never get old Singular work. A true auteur’s magnum opus. Gonna have to rewatch The Disaster Artist soon. Fucking James Franco. Also David Wain could’ve played Nathan Fielder’s role, just sayin’ “In a few minutes, bitch” is a massively underrated line delivery 4K restoration when???

I can't help but admire Tommy Wiseau's vision. This is the 'drama' that he cooked up in his strange mind, unobstructed by any studio interference because he wrote, directed, and produced it independently. It's not a good movie by any means but it is both fascinating and hilarious. If you're a casual movie watcher you probably won't understand what's so great about The Room. But if you LOVE movies, you have to see it at least once in your life.
