Die etwas anderen Cops Rezensionen & Wertungen
- Mister Arn23. Mai 2025"The Other Guys" presents itself as a satirical take on the classic buddy cop genre, weaving its narrative around the tropes we've come to associate with such films. The movie kicks off on a high note yet struggles to maintain momentum as it progresses, with its repetitive humor falling short of the hilarity offered in films like Airplane, despite its impressive production values and a cast replete with renowned names. The comedic beats include a recurring joke about antics in the car.
- stolteclan15. März 2026Absolutely ridiculous fun. First half is funnier than second half.
- Derron Ford10. Dezember 2025Super funny and very re-watchable.
- Jeb11. März 2026Funny movie worth a watch.
- mickerdoo11. Juli 2025Quirky little buddy comedy featuring Ferrell, Wahlburg, Mendes and the fastest Prius ever built. Dumb and good for some laughs.
- Jakeys3. Februar 2026This was far funnier than I expected. Ferrell and Wahlberg are a great buddy cop duo, there are some genuinely hilarious jokes and unexpected moments, Michael Keaton is putting on a comedy clinic, much of the supporting cast is great too. The plot itself is pretty forgettable but the beats along the way are top notch. "They chased us twenty miles!" is my favourite moment in the whole thing, I think. Just the sheer unexpected madness of the main characters exiting the scene and the story completely moving on, only to reintroduce the bit characters from the last scene who ran twenty miles on foot to the correct location in the middle of the night... absurd brilliance.
- Manuel Frangis5. Dezember 2025I just watched The Other Guys and I give it 5 out of 5 stars. This movie had me laughing from start to finish because of how perfectly it mixes sharp comedy with unexpected heart. I went into it expecting a silly buddy cop film, but what I got was something much more entertaining. It has big laughs, outrageous moments, clever jokes, and a surprising amount of personality. It delivers comedy in a way that feels confident and fearless, and at the same time it has a story that keeps you interested. The tone is playful, energetic, and fun, and it reminded me how good comedy can be when the cast works together so well. Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg have incredible chemistry. They are complete opposites, and that is exactly why they work so well as partners. Will Ferrell plays his character with a calm, awkward sweetness that makes every scene funnier. His lines, reactions, and sudden bursts of confidence all hit at the perfect time. Mark Wahlberg plays the frustrated, intense character who wants to be a hero but keeps getting stuck doing paperwork. His emotional breakdowns and loud reactions make him hilarious without ever feeling forced. Together, the two of them create a dynamic that is entertaining in every single scene. The story follows two detectives who finally get the chance to prove themselves. The plot itself is simple, but that is what makes the comedy work. It gives the characters room to shine, and it lets their personalities drive the humor. The movie uses the buddy cop formula but turns it upside down in a way that feels fresh. Instead of focusing on perfect action heroes, it focuses on two guys who are trying their best to step out of the shadow of the officers everyone else worships. That idea gives the movie a lovable underdog feeling. The humor is bold, clever, and nonstop. There are quiet jokes, loud jokes, physical jokes, and jokes that come out of nowhere. Even the background scenes have funny details if you pay attention. What I appreciate most is that the movie does not rely on one kind of humor. It combines smart writing with silly moments and unexpected twists. Every scene feels like it was crafted to get a laugh, and most of them succeed. The movie knows it is ridiculous, and it embraces that completely. Even with all the comedy, the movie has a surprising emotional warmth. Beneath the loud jokes, there are moments that show how much these characters want to be valued and respected. You can feel Mark Wahlberg’s frustration and Will Ferrell’s quiet desire to stay unnoticed until he finally steps up. The growth of their partnership feels genuine. They go from arguing constantly to trusting each other fully. That little bit of heart makes the movie feel more complete than just a comedy full of chaos. The supporting cast is amazing too. Characters played by Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton, Steve Coogan, and Samuel L Jackson all add personality and hilarious moments. Each one brings something memorable that adds to the film’s energy. The world of the movie feels full and lively because every side character has their own funny quirks. By the time it ended, I felt like I had watched one of the best buddy comedies in years. The Other Guys is funny, creative, surprising, and filled with personality. It completely earned its perfect rating from me.
