Regie F. Gary GrayLieutenant Danny Roman ist in Chicago der beste Vermittler zwischen Geiselnehmer und Polizei. Gerade hat er wieder einen Fall erfolgreich abgeschlossen, da wird sein Partner Nathan erschossen, kurz nachdem dieser Danny in einen Fall von Korruption und Betrug eingeweiht hat. Es gibt nämlich Individuen in den eigenen Reihen, die sich aus dem Invaliditäts-Fond bedienen. Danny wird beschuldigt, Nathans Mörder zu sein und anscheinend will ihm niemand zuhören, offensichtlich will man ihm den Mord in die Schuhe schieben. Nathan sieht in der Eile und Panik keine andere Möglichkeit, er nimmt sich vier Geiseln, unter anderem den Leiter der Dienstaufsicht Terence Niebaum und dessen Sekretärin. Als Führer der Verhandlung fordert er den auswärtigen Spezialisten Chris Sabian an, denn er weiß, daß nur ein Außenstehender Licht in die Sache bringen kann und er nur einem Fremden trauen kann. Great moives not necessarily win awards, even though this hasnt the complicated 'setting up of a cop', it will keep you on your toes till the end.Super Acting by Samuel L Jackson and Kevin Spacy!,well done. Many say the best part comes right at the end but i deny it!. Its a good moive right from the start with snippets of action where needed.Also great acting from 'Bec' sorry i cant remember the name of him. Samuel belives himself and goes to the very end to find out who took his partner out and whos behind the ....,ok i wont spill it all out for those who haven't watched it. Great Moive. Must See.

Even for a lengthy movie, the key aspects of the movie makes it worth my time. Definitely recommend if you wanted to spare the time for a 2 hour movie that'll keep you seated.

It’s smart, intense, and keeps you hooked the whole time. Honestly, it’s way underrated—this movie deserves way more love. The way it plays with the cat-and-mouse dynamic is top-notch. If you haven’t seen it, you’re missing out

It's a beautiful psychological and strategistical movie we miss in our time, where actors are running everywhere when things stand simples. 🥰😍🥰 For the Xst time, this is the best I ever enjoyed !!
