- "THE MOVIE FANATIC"vor 1 TagOn a lot of these crime programmes a lot of the time the question that always seems to pop up is [Are serial killers born evil or made that way] well "The Good Son" answers that question even though this film isn't a true story; but it does tell us that no matter what your background is; or how well you were raised and all of that important stuff, most of the time imo it's just in you and that's it. And "The Good Son" explores & conveys that very powerfully & effectively!! Also there's a reason why "Macouley Culkin is widely considered to be the best child actor of all time; to go from Home Alone 1 & 2 and Uncle Buck to playing the part of an emerging serial killer in such a very believable, haunting, creepy & dark way deserves so much praise 👏👏👏 I thought he was outstanding tbh. And a big shout out to "Elijah Wood" he's also brilliant here as well both him & Macauley Culkin worked very well together. Also I love the setting of the house. And the whole finale of the film on the cliff, was very very gripping and had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Overall "The Good Son" is a film that is criminally underrated!! This is a film I can't recommend enough to people, it's fantastic from start to finish. And my Ratings/Scores for "The Good Son" is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & a 10/10 👍👍

Auf den ersten Blick wirkt der kleine Henry Eavens wie ein ganz normaler, liebenswerter Junge. Seine Eltern kennen ihn als liebevollen Sohn und umsichtigen Bruder, der seine kleine Schwester über alles liebt. Doch hinter seinen Engelsgesicht verbirgt sich eine diabolische, mordlüsterne Seele, die immer dann zum Vorschein kommt, wenn die Eltern nicht hinsehen. Wenn seine Familie wüsste, wie sich ihr kleiner Liebling amüsiert und welche abartigen Spiele er spielt, würde sie das kalte Grauen packen. Mark Evans, Henrys Cousin dagegen, der nach dem Tod seiner Eltern bei Henrys Familie wohnt, begreift schon bald, dass sich hinter dem zarten Äußeren seines Cousins das zweite Gesicht des Bösen verbirgt.
