Nothing like, nor is it trying to be like P.o.t.c, not sure why people are comparing it. It has pirates that's where the similarities end.

The cast carries the material competently, giving just enough credibility to make the story work. Nothing groundbreaking, but nothing distracting either. Overall, "The Bluff" is quite entertaining for what it is. It may not leave a lasting impression or offer much depth, but it delivers a watchable and enjoyable experience.

Some scenes had energy and tension, though, which was nice to see. By the end, it wasn’t amazing or memorable, but it wasn’t a total miss either—just a bit uneven.
