Stay is a dramatic short film that centers on a teenage girl's struggle to cope with the loss of her sister. She finds it almost impossible to let go, keeping the vision of what once was alive in her mind, and only barely grapples with the idea of moving on. Reality and fantasy clashes and her pyschomachia (Battle or Contest for Man's Soul) begin to tear her apart. Stay asks us to question if it is better to live with the grief that allows us to hold on, or to simply forget and let the pain fade.
