From the very first scene where Mr and Mrs Copperbottom make a baby in front of the audience, the jokes rarely miss. It is a laugh-a-minute comedy with a great cast and a great message: Follow your dreams, it doesn't matter who you are or where you came from - don't let anyone stand in your way. Robin Williams killed it as always, as Fender, and you will always think of Aunt Fanny at inappropriate times. There is plenty of social commentary that holds true today, such as the greed of big corporations and the genius inventors who go unappreciated The Animation by Blue Sky holds up even in 2026, and while it seems the film never got a 4K release, you will be be pleased with 1080P regardless. In a universe where Pixar never existed, this film would've broken records at the box office The ending isn't incredible and the jokes run out of steam a little after the first half, but if you can forgive the writers for sticking to the film's age certificate then there is nothing to complain about.. Kids will love this, and parents will be both enraged and delighted by the jokes directed at them Easy 4.5 stars, but closer to 4.8 - I highly recommend watching this film before you're too old to appreciate this occasionally crude, but timeless comedy.
- viktorsmi12. Oktober 2025An unrerrated classic for sure. People who complain about the plot probably expect Citizen Kane. As far as family movies go, it's by the numbers, but there are no blatant lapses in logic and each character's actions are justified. It's basically as much as you can ask from a movie like this. The movie knows where to slow down. Animation is spectacular to this day. A lot of jokes for the adults in the audience. Voice acting is great in general with late Robin Williams absolutely hitting it out of the park.

Hier hat der aalglatte Ratchet die Macht von Big Weld Industries an sich gerissen und vom eigentlichen Firmenchef Big Weld - Rodneys Idol - fehlt jede Spur. Um Big Weld zu finden und zu retten hat Rodney zahlreiche Abenteuer zu bestehen. Dafür braucht er nicht nur viel Mut und Erfindungsreichtum, sondern vor allem gute Freunde...
