Instead of a standard viral outbreak or supernatural curse, the infection is born out of a bizarre experimental plastic surgery procedure, which feels pretty odd to watch by today's standards. And let's be honest that strange phallic creature living under her armpit is peak weirdness; whose wild idea was that?! Lmfao. Some genuinely terrible acting all around, and it's a wonderfully bizarre, campy horror relic from the past.
