Aber was erwartet ihn dort? Und warum sind alle anderen Besatzungsmitglieder tot? Nach und nach dämmert es Grace, dass von seinem Überleben nicht nur die Mission, sondern die Zukunft der gesamten Erdbevölkerung abhängt.

- A.Svor 1 TagAmaze amaze amaze for sure! Great movie the writing definitely follows classic hero plot but honestly still one of the better movies that have come out within the last 5 years.
- darsan19. März 2026"AMAZE! AMAZE! AMAZE!" phil lord and chris miller gave a perfect adaption of andy weir's novel , amazing score by daniel pemberton and absolutely stunning visuals and i highly recommend reading the book before watching this.
- Robjovsvor 2 TagenAmaze Amaze Amaze Added to one of my favourite movies. All the characters were amazing in their own right. And the storyline was great. The bond created by Ryan Gosling with Rocky is superb. Well worth the watch and rewatch. I want a Rocky Plushy!
- vangh1vor 3 TagenI wanted to love this so bad. I'm so disappointed that it didn't land for me the way it seems to be landing for so many others. It probably worked against me that I literally marathoned the book a week before watching it (in prep for a podcast, it'll be coming at some point, maybe I'll edit in a link) and while all of the high level points are pretty similar, (and I can even understand and forgive the fact that the science is just so much more shallow in the movie despite them trying their best, but everything just feels way too convenient and unearned compared to the hard won progress Grace and Rocky make in the book) but the tone is just WAY too silly for me compared to the novel. The way Grace is played, the way things are edited, some of the dynamics of the relationship between Grace and Rocky, everything is just cranked up a little bit too much from the way the book handled it, in my opinion. Every single conflict in the book we see the scientific processes that lead to finding a solution to what is initially an unknowable problem. In the movie, everything just feels like the usual plot point to plot point progression. It's gorgeous, and I'm glad it exists because Andy Weir's work deserves all the success in the world and the more people that are aware of it in any form is a good thing, but it really just felt wrong for me personally on the heels of once again absolutely being blown away by the book. This occupies the same space for me, I think, as Watchmen where there's undeniably some cool sequences that bring the words on the page to life, but ultimately it lacks the soul of the original work. Maybe I'll give it another chance a few years down the line, when the book isn't so fresh, and see if it plays better that way.

- fpmo34vor 3 TagenI’ve seen it 3 times and I still want to see it again. Definitely worth at least 5 stars
- Cameron Soffesvor 4 TagenAmazing movie! the pacing, the tention. Unlike many movies where it feels rushed or unfinished this film true is complete and rocky is the most likable alien in film. Must Watch!
- Sheila Rose21. März 2026I did not read the book, so I can’t share in the excitement of this being a well-adapted film. But I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed this. It was hilarious, heartwarming, and visually stunning. I can’t recall the last film I watched starring Gosling, but his performance reminded me what a truly gifted actor he is. His depth and versatility make watching him easy and fun. I honestly didn’t want it to end. I almost wish this could have been a limited series, just to stay in this world a little longer. Can’t wait to add this to my DVD collection — it’s worth it.
- Moondog2010vor 4 TagenSlow and boring. Not my cup of tea.
- Chris C20. März 2026Such a wonderful, emotional, inspirational journey! It's a great adaptation of an excellent novel and Gosling and Rocky really just take the movie to another level. Go see this movie! Really, do yourself a favor and see it.
